SAN FRANCISCO — The Warriors were up two and had the ball in their hands with about five seconds separating the shot and game clock Sunday evening. Their fourth straight win was well within reach. But Draymond Green turned the ball over and Kyle Anderson fed Karl Anthony Towns who buried a 3 to put the Timberwolves up for good. On the next possession, Jordan Poole would throw the ball away for Golden State’s fifth turnover of the fourth and the Timberwolves would hold on, beating the Warriors 99-96. Towns playing in his second game back after a 51-game hiatus, knocked down two timely 3s late in the fourth to usher his team to their third straight win and even the regular-season series at 2-2. That means, if necessary, the tiebreaker would be decided by who has the better conference record. As of Sunday, the Warriors are 25-21 and the Timberwolves are 26-20. BEIRUT (AP) — The Lebanese government’s last-minute decision to delay the start of daylight saving time by a month until the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan resulted in mass confusion Sunday. With some institutions implementing the change while others refused, many Lebanese have found themselves in the position of juggling work and school schedules in different time zones — in a country that is just 88 kilometers (55 miles) at its widest point. In some cases, the debate took on a sectarian nature, with many Christian politicians and institutions, including the small nation’s largest church, the Maronite Church, rejecting the move. The small Mediterranean country normally sets its clocks forward an hour on the last Sunday in March, which aligns with most European countries. However, on Thursday, the government announced a decision by caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati to push the start of daylight saving to April 21.No reason was given for the decision, but a video of a meetin...Pastrnak hits 50-goal mark as Bruins top Canes in shootout

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The NFL’s veteran wide receiver market is a little thinner after Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton declared neither Jerry Jeudy nor Courtland Sutton are on the trade block.Payton made the comments while speaking to the NFL Network on Sunday, the first day of the league’s spring owners meetings in Arizona. “We’re not trading those two players,” Payton said, acknowledging the Broncos have received inquiries about the availability of the wide receivers who combined for 1,801 yards receiving and eight TD receptions in 2022.“We’ve received calls, you bet. Those are two good football players,” Payton said. “But we’re in the business of gathering talent right now. Why do people call? Because they know we’re void of draft picks and that we might, because there was some discussions a year ago, I think, regarding Courtland. But we like the current group that we’re working with.”The Broncos have just five picks in the NFL draft n...Latest news
